I got my used Strix 3080 TI for around 800 US from an expat who was about to leave the country. He used the card for less than a year, I was waiting for 4070 TI prices and when they announced it, I knew it would be over 1K US here, so I closed the deal on the 3080 TI.
That said, the 3080 is a beast of a card at 1440p. I typically get anywhere from 90-120 frames in any game at 1440p at max settings. I think $400 is a pretty great deal for it. That's a fantastic deal and it won't struggle at all to game in 1440p for quite some time, even longer when you throw dlss into the equation.
