Elden ring faith caster build

Everything was fine until I got to Godric, I had to switch my sword back to standard because the sacred version was doing shit damage. Current stats are 16 strength, 18 dex, 20 faith. I beat Dark Souls 1 for the first time with a faith build and I want to do the same in Elden Ring, but not if this build is going to suck against most bosses.

Scaling for an int faith build will always be better on chaos/dark weapons and items. I don't know of any magic in elden ring that scales with both faith and int. Pyromancy is now part of incantations which are faith only. Starting class isn't really important, I wouldn't recommend a magic build if you want to do pvp.also the buffing nature of FAITH can make a decent starter build deal almost midgame damage without to much effort, or realy excell lategame damage; the stat cure is nice to have as is the regen and def-buff. playing pure caster FAITH is also pretty effective, but again: you need to keep damage-types in mind.I just need to vent for a second.
